I’m finally accepted by FIRE International (F.I.). I just got the e-mail today. This is the organization in the United States I applied to, which is a sister affiliation to the school I attended. They are just sending me a welcome package and some stuff pertinent to that.
I’m still awaiting to hear back from some organizations locally. I sent out some emails, and apparently there was miscommunication yet again, and therefore I’m still behind on at least finding out if I can be ordained under a certain oranization, and sent out by a mission sending agency in Canada. But F.I. is the one of main concern, so at least that is in place.
Once it’s appropriate to do so, I’ll let you all know if you want to know how to donate to me through F.I., how to do so online securely using your credit card. That’s how I support my F.I. missionaries, and if you are in Canada and don’t care about getting a tax receipt, then this is one way you can give any support. If you are in the USA reading this, then that is the only way to give money for a tax receipt. I also have Paypal, but I am not persoanlly an non-profit or charitable organization so that is directly to me. I don’t mind if people want to do this, but for more accountability, it’s through F.I. for now.
Obviously, I’m still working on something in Canada to have in place for any financial contributions.
Anyway, just thought I’d update y’all. I’m excited
