I’m pretty sure I’ve used this title before.

Yeah.
I finally saw the light and converted. No not as this picture depicts. I took that using the built-in webcam and Photo Booth program on this thing. “Once you go Mac, you’ll never go back” they say.

“They” also told me not to have my Macbook on my lap if I planned on having children in the future, but it doesn’t seem to be overheating.

I love this laptop so far!

So this is my first update in some time, and my first post written from my Macbook. I can’t believe how light and thin these things are, nor can I believe that somebody would want to get rid of one of these on E-bay. My mom and I purchased it on Ebay and she sent it here and I just got it in the mail today.
It will take quite the getting used to with all these different features–ones that work at that–but I’m already pleased with this so far.

The other day I e-mailed F.I. who’ve been pestering me politely for some months now to write a blurb for my profile page on the FIRE International site. So I finally did, and I just happened to check today and to my surprise it’s already there. So I put a link to it underneath my little profile paragraph thing on the right hand column of this page. You can also click here to see it specifically. My own profile blurb on the FI site, and my own Macbook…I’ve finally arrived and am now officially cool.

I am traveling to England tomorrow and returning to the Netherworld on Sunday night. My friend Walter is taking me to a Reinhard Bonnke conference in Birmingham. If you don’t know much about him, Google search him and I’m sure you’ll find good and bad stuff, but select something biographical. I’ve got a video or two of him back in storage in Canada, preaching at the Brownsville revival, but I’ve never seen him in person. Nor do I know much about the conference itself other than the fact I was invited free of charge and am totally going to just receive that blessing and enjoy. However, since I don’t have any way of posting my pictures onto my computer yet (the USB cable doesn’t fit into the slot on my Kodak camera, and previously I just slid the memory stick straight into my Tostinka, and this new Macbook doesn’t have that feature) don’t be expecting many pictures just yet from the trip. I won’t be able to afford little necessary gadgets until next month.

Other than that, we’ve opened the cafe every other Sunday afternoon for an after-church hang-out and are no longer “officially” open on Thursday nights. I went to see Spider-Man 3 this week, and man I was blown away. Expect a blog entry on bitterness/forgiveness based loosely on that movie’s plot eventually. It’s rare such good POSITIVE stories are told in Hollywood anymore–even in Superhero movies.

I will continue to post a couple of blog entries in the week to come, but until then, do-doei.
